I like the idea of a vessel that holds items that are precious to us. They symbolize a place where we can keep important objects for safekeeping and preserve the memories associated with them. In these works the mirrors for me represent a sense of self awareness of yourself and the world. They reflect your true self but also can be confrontational. They also hold a message of empathy, as seeing parts of yourself in others.
