This one is personal.
I will always advocate for women’s reproductive rights. In 2002 I experienced life threatening complications 5 months into my pregnancy. With great sadness we lost our baby. With Texas’s current abortion bans physicians can no longer provide comprehensive maternity care to women in Texas and under these laws this could have been life-threatening for me as well. Reproductive care is a human right.
