Views from UTOPIA. I have always been drawn to the concepts of time and space in my work. Sherry Hayslip Interiors asked me to create a bespoke work for her stunning room titled UTOPIA for the Kips Bay Show House in Dallas, TX. Harnessing the sunlight in this space I created a work that activates a utopian rainbow of colors in the space. This beautiful space “breathes” throughout the day casting the colors of the spectrum on the walls as the sun traverses the sky. You can see a time lapse video of it here.
